The Inside Scoop: Right now, our outdated chemicals policy leaves us and our kids exposed to toxic chemicals linked to cancer, birth defects, asthma, & other serious illnesses. Our current chemicals legislation, the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), has not been updated since 1976. Back then, we didn’t know as much about how toxic chemicals can migrate from the materials and products in which they’re used – including furniture, plastics, and food cans – into our bodies. These policies need to be updated! Moms have enough to worry about without having to also worry about toxic chemicals in our homes, drinking water, and environment.

Chemistry degrees shouldn't be required to raise a healthy kid!

Moms and dads shouldn't need a degree in chemistry to pick safe toys and safe food for our children. That’s why we need comprehensive chemical reform today. Tell your Senators to look out for moms at the Capitol today, and show them that thousands of Americans want common sense limits on toxic chemicals.

Back these moms at the Capitol up online!
