Tell Walgreens: No More Toxic Products!

Walgreens is the nation’s largest drugstore chain.  While other leading retailers such as Target and Walmart have begun to take action on toxic chemicals linked to cancer and birth defects in products they sell, Walgreens is unfortunately lagging behind.  As our country’s largest drug store chain, Walgreens could make an enormous contribution to ensuring that the products on their shelves are as safe and non-toxic as possible.

Tell Walgreens to be a real leader for our children and families and get tough on toxic chemicals in products they sell.

Dear Walgreens,

Will you help protect my family against toxic chemicals commonly found in cosmetics, personal care and other products? Please join major retailers like Target and Walmart and “Mind the Store” by creating a robust action plan for how you’ll begin removing from your store shelves items containing chemicals on the Hazardous 100+ list.

As the largest drugstore chain in the country, you have the power and responsibility to ensure that products you sell do not contain chemicals harmful to children’s and public health. Please be a leader and phase out the Hazardous 100+ chemicals in products sold at your stores.
