We aren’t joking around when we say that NYC moms and dads want paid sick days. And now we are upping the ante to make sure that Speaker Christine Quinn knows we’re serious.
Picture it: Crowds of parents and kids pushing dozens of strollers overflowing with petitions signed by tens of thousands of New Yorkers urging Speaker Quinn to let the City Council vote on the earned sick days bill!
