Dear Member of Congress,

Don't give up on our families!  There are still ways to achieve comprehensive healthcare reform and your constituents are depending on you to finish the job.  We knew passing healthcare reform would be hard, but we are behind you all the way. As you know, the voices of mothers in our nation are powerful: Women are now more than 50% of the voting electorate, and over 80% of women have kids by the time they are forty-four years old.  And a recent Kaiser Family Foundation poll shows that public support for healthcare reform rises dramatically when people learn about what's actually in the healthcare reform bill.[1]

While the political situation may have changed, the real needs of families have not.  14,000 people a day continue to lose their healthcare coverage in America.  We can't let healthcare reform be turned into a political football.  For the sake of your constituents, fight to pass comprehensive healthcare reform now.
