    Did you know?

Did you know that hundreds of women in the U.S. needlessly die during pregnancy and childbirth each year? And only six states require reporting of pregnancy-related deaths while 29 states and the District of Columbia have no mechanism in place to review maternal deaths. If we don't have information about why this is happening, we do anything to stop it.

I urge you to join me in sending a letter to your members of Congress asking them to co-sponsor the Maternal Health Accountability Act today:

Together, let’s use our power to ensure that no woman needlessly dies in childbirth.

    Thanks, Patricia

    We need answers.

Currently, 49 countries around the world have lower rates of maternal mortality than the U.S. And the number of women dying during pregnancy and childbirth in our nation is rising each year. We can't fix this problem until we know exactly how many women are dying and why.

Ask your Members of Congress to co-sponsor the Maternal Health Accountability Act (HR 894) today.
