In order to pay for the tax cuts that President Trump and extremist Republicans in Congress want for their rich cronies and Wall Street corporations, they need to make massive budget cuts in other places—mainly by making cuts to health care.

The national budget passed by Congressional Republicans in October included $1.8 trillion in cuts to Medicaid, Medicare, and other health care programs in order to pay for their proposed tax plan, which overwhelmingly benefit wealthy corporations and millionaires and billionaires.

**We need to loudly speak out against cuts to our health care—especially when it comes to padding the pockets of the already wealthy—and make our voices heard in our local newspapers!
