Tell Congress: Support the Children's Health Insurance Program

CHIP’s funding will expire by next year if Congress doesn’t act. This would result in millions of children being at risk of losing health coverage. We’ll deliver this petition and signatures to your lawmakers to let them know you want them to take action this year to ensure this critical program continues.

Sign your name in the form to the right to tell Congress that continued funding for CHIP should be a top priority!

Dear Congress Member:

As one of one million members of MomsRising, I am writing to urge you to take action this year to ensure continued funding for the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).

Today, thanks in large part to CHIP’s success, 93% of children in the U.S. have health coverage. This means that our children—our nation’s future workforce—can grow up healthy and ready to learn in school.

Your action is needed soon because funding for CHIP is not permanent and is set to be cut dramatically next year. Our states need stable, reliable funding for CHIP in order to keep children enrolled. If CHIP coverage were cut, millions of children would go without health coverage, an enormous step backwards in every state.

Sincerely,
