Families can't wait. Tell our elected leaders to do what's right.

One year ago, the United States Senate passed a comprehensive immigration reform bill. Since then, Congress has failed to take action, and this failure has had devastating consequences. Our broken immigration system separates families, hurts our economy, and fails to recognize the contributions of women and children, who make up 3/4 of all immigrants to the U.S.. It's time for women and our allies to show that we're tired of this broken system and that communities across the country can't wait any longer for relief.

Faced with Congress's inaction, I pledge to put my support behind behind elected officials who have the courage to do what is morally and economically necessary: fix this system, keep families together, and make our communities, our economy and our nation strong.

While continuing to urge Congress to take action, I also urge the Obama administration to honor the contributions of women and children by taking action now to end the crisis of deportations and family separation.
