RSVP for Petition Delivery to NRA Leaders
Across the country, moms are standing up to demand that our nation's leaders do something to address gun violence, which has killed more Americans since 1968 than all our wars combined. Moms have had enough of this devastation, and we not only need to be heard by our nation's leaders, we must also hold all who stand in the way of common-sense solutions accountable.
On the third-month anniversary of Newtown, MomsRising will deliver our petition against gun violence to NRA national headquarters. Whether or not NRA President David Keene gives us a meeting, we’re going to drop off our petition signatures for NRA leadership on the 14th!
Can you be there?
What: MomsRising petition delivery to NRA leaders at NRA headquarters in Northern Virginia.
When: March 14, 2013, 10 AM EST (parking may be limited, so please arrive early)
Where: Meet at the front of the Giant supermarket parking lot (11200 Fairfax Blvd, Fairfax, VA)
From the meeting place, we’ll walk together to NRA headquarters around the corner. (Map of route) Our delivery will be part of the Reston-Herndon Alliance to End Gun Violence’s regular monthly demonstration.
