RSVP for Unity Rally!!
Fifty-three years ago this week in Washington, D.C., Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered the following immortal words at the historic March on Washington:
“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character… I have a dream that one day… little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers.”
The Unity Rally calls on all people of good conscience to join together to commemorate the March and help bring the continuing fight for civil rights to the very doorstep of the NRA, the powerful gun industry lobbyist that has blocked common sense gun safety reforms.
Speakers will include Martin Luther King III; Reverend Al Sharpton, Founder and President, National Action Network (NAN); Randi Weingarten, President, American Federation of Teachers (AFT); and other allies, who all share a vision of America with equality, justice, safety, and commonsense gun laws.
