Tell Disney: It’s Time to be Brave!

The Trump Administration and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) put pressure on Disney (the parent company of ABC) to fire Jimmy Kimmel from his late night show after comments that the President disagreed with. But Kimmel is not the story here – it’s what is at the heart of this. I’m not sure if they are familiar with the First Amendment, but Free Speech is still enshrined in the U.S. Constitution, a cornerstone of any democracy. And we’d like to keep it that way.

Halloween is around the corner, and kids across the country are anticipating the joy of putting on their costumes that are so often the very Disney characters that have taught them how to be and feel brave, courageous, and part of something bigger. Let’s remind Disney to hold true to their values and stand up for our kids and the future they deserve.

Join us and tell Disney: we know you can be the hero of the story. Our kids are watching, and we are all ready to join Mickey and your Rebel Alliance!

We call on you now to be the hero of this story – and we, moms, children, and families, are here to back you up.

We are calling on you to stand with us and be brave – reject the pressure of the Trump Administration and the Federal Communications Commission to “take action” on Jimmy Kimmel and bow down to efforts that destroy our First Amendment freedom of speech and tear at the fabric of our democracy. [1] [2] Stand with the children and families that you inspire through the power of imagination every day and double down on the right to free speech and our collective future.
