Do you have some time to help get out the vote with the Black women-led Georgia Coalition for the People's Agenda, along with the Transformative Justice Coalition, and Public Citizen in making phone calls to Georgia voters to let them know about their early voting, absentee voting, and same day voting options for the January Special Election?
YES! I will phonebank to get out the vote in Georgia with the Black women-led Georgia Coalition for the People's Agenda, as well as the Transformative Justice Coalition, and Public Citizen!
“This week is the most important week to make phone calls. Our goal is getting people the information they need to early vote, which starts Monday, December 14th in Georgia; and also to ask people to utilize the absentee ballot process in Georgia. Getting people the information they needed to vote early and absentee on November 3rd resulted in historic voter turnout, we’re using those same tactics now to build voter turnout for the Georgia Special Election!”

Transformative Justice Coalition (TJC) / Georgia Coalition for The People’s Agenda (GCPA) Nonpartisanship Agreement for Volunteers
I understand that this work is to be conducted in a non-partisan manner. I agree not to deviate in any material way from the script(s) provided by TJC/ GCPA.
Example: I can use a different salutation or closing, or add something like “Have a great day!"; I cannot write or say the names of preferred candidates or include hints about who the recipients should vote for.
In addition, I have read the definitions set forth below and agree to abide by these principles. I understand that failure to abide by these principles may result in damage to the sponsoring 501(c)3 nonpartisan organizations, and volunteers who fail to abide by this agreement must accept personal responsibility for their actions.
Non-partisan means: Not advocating, encouraging, suggesting, or implying the preference of one political candidate or party over another.
Non-partisan means YOU CANNOT:
- Advise postcard/phone call recipients about which party to join or which candidate to support.
- Mention issues that are overtly partisan.
- Write or draw partisan symbols or affix partisan stickers to any written material.
- Deviate from the script provided by TJC/GCPA in any material way.
Non-partisan means YOU CAN:
- Emphasize how important voting is
- Stress the kind of impact that voting can have for a community and why it’s important to our organization (in a non-partisan way: no parties or candidates!)
- FOLLOW THE SCRIPT(S) PROVIDED by TJC/GCPA
