📢 Tell the NH Senate: Pass MOMnibus 2.0!

Moms and families in New Hampshire deserve a health care system that works for them—not one that leaves them struggling to access care when they need it most. Yet too many moms are silently struggling with maternal health challenges, traveling hours for maternity care, or being forced to leave the workforce to care for their families.

That’s why MOMnibus 2.0 (SB 246) is so important. This bill builds on the success of the original NH MOMnibus and takes real steps to:

Prioritize maternal mental health so moms get the care they need;
Support moms across New Hampshire by improving rural maternal health care and birth options;
Expand family supports to help parents navigate the early years; and
Strengthen workforce protections so no one has to choose between a job and family.

When we support moms, families and communities thrive. When moms have access to mental health care, job protections, and the resources they need, our entire state is stronger, healthier, and more resilient. MOMnibus 1 became law because of people like you—now let’s do it again.

As one of thousands of MomsRising members in New Hampshire, I urge you to support SB 246, MOMnibus 2.0—a bipartisan, pro-family bill that strengthens maternal health, supports working parents, and helps ensure babies get the best start in life.

New Hampshire is a great place to raise a family, but for too many, affording and accessing maternal health care is a challenge, especially in rural areas. Employers are also feeling the strain as new parents—especially moms—are forced to leave the workforce due to gaps in family support.

MOMnibus 2.0 is a fiscally responsible, commonsense investment in strong families and a strong economy. This bill will:

Prioritize maternal mental health so moms get the care they need;
Support moms across New Hampshire by improving rural maternal health care and birth options;
Expand family supports to help parents navigate the early years; and
Strengthen workforce protections so no one has to choose between a job and family.

When we support moms, we strengthen families, communities, and New Hampshire’s workforce. MOMnibus 1 became law in 2023 because our legislature recognized that strong families mean a strong economy—let’s continue that MOMentum.
