March with MomsRising at the Moral March on Raleigh!
From immigration bans and scary cabinet nominations at the national level to budget cuts and gerrymandering here in North Carolina, we are surrounded these days by actions that are directly harming families. Fortunately, in North Carolina we know what to do: Stand up, fight back!
For more than a decade, the Forward Together Moral Movement, of which MomsRising is a proud member, has been bringing justice-loving people together and building coalitions to stand up against harmful policies. Next Saturday will mark the 11th annual Moral March on Raleigh, also known as as the "Historic Thousands on Jones Street People's Assembly" or HKonJ. Many families have raised their children coming to these marches year after year for the last decade to speak out on everything from voting rights attacks to coal ash spills to budget cuts.
Now more than ever, it is clear that we must come together to stand for justice and shout from the streets “Forward together, not one step back!”
