**NC Early Voting Volunteers Needed!** Host a Super Voter Treasure Box & Help Moms and Caregivers Vote in 2024!
Thanks so much for your interest in MomsRising's Super Voter Treasure Boxes. We've had a tremendous response from volunteers, and all of our treasure boxes have been claimed. The 2024 Elections are too important for any mom or member of the family to miss. And North Carolina's early voting period starts October 17th!
One of the biggest voting challenges MomsRising hears about is that voting with children can be hard. That’s why MomsRising is hosting Super Voter Treasure Boxes for kids at select voting locations, to help moms and caregivers -- who need to bring children -- vote!
The treasure boxes have small toys, stickers, tattoos, and all sorts of fun stuff to keep the kids occupied while parents and caregivers vote. These were a huge hit in 2016, 2018, and 2020!
But the secret ingredient to making the Super Voter Treasure Boxes work is YOU! We need volunteers to engage kids and voters, and help make voting a celebration for everyone. It’s a high-impact way to make a difference, AND a fun activity you can do with your kids. Many of our volunteers brought their children to help them staff the treasure boxes in previous elections, and the kids did a great job, too!
We are recruiting volunteers to host a treasure box at a location near you on one of the Saturdays of early voting-October 19th, October 26th, or November 2nd. You can check here to see the locations and hours of early voting locations in your county. We need people to make a 4 hour commitment (or two commitments for two hours) to host in order to receive a box.
Just tell us what dates and hours you can volunteer, and enter your county. Then we’ll be in touch with details, and you can start calling your friends and family to join you -- because these kinds of activities are always more fun as a team!
