Join us to Tell PA Legislators to Lift Up PA Parents and Families!
We're celebrating Mother's Day by calling on legislators to help PA parents and families TAKE FLIGHT! Help us bring some parent power to Harrisburg on Tuesday May 22! We're:
- Shining a light on the importance of supporting parents and families in the workplace through paid leave, equal pay, raising the minimum wage, and accommodations for pregnant and breastfeeding workers.
- Highlighting the devastating impacts of challenges in our justice system including family detention, gun violence, and the school-to-prison pipeline.
Are you a parent, ever had a parent, or just like parents? Then bring yourself, your friends, and / or your group to join the fun. We're kicking things off at 11am with music, storytelling and lunch on the front steps, followed by a rally/press conference in the main rotunda at noon. We're wrapping up the day by dropping off materials to every legislator in Harrisburg. This is a great and impactful way to make your voice heard. Join us!
