Thank you for your interest in texting with MomsRising! We’re so excited that you’re texting with us to help get out the vote. This is the official training page for MomsRising's soon-to-be volunteer "textperts."
*** UPDATE: Please note that we are closing our texting program to new texters on Monday, November 2, 7:00 PM ET. At that time, we will stop issuing new ThruText invitations for volunteers to join our campaign, and will no longer provide technical support to help people get started. Our last Texting Open House on Election Day, at 12 noon ET/9 AM PT, will be a texting party for existing texters to get together one last time as we send out our last wave of messages urging voters to cast their ballots.
In order to gain access to our 2020 #MomsVote GOTV texting program, all volunteers must demonstrate that they have gone through our simple training. Here's how:

Answer the simple questions on this page and submit your answers
After you have answered the questions correctly, you will be considered "trained," and will receive an email invitation within 24 hours (likely sooner) from ThruText to join MomsRising's texting program.
After we see you've created your ThruText account/joined MomsRising's texting campaign, we will give you your first texting assignment. Giving new texters their first assignment is a manual process, so please give us a few hours to give you your first assignment.
Once you’re in ThruText and have received your first assignment, you can do your texts anytime between 9am and 9pm (depending on the timezone you have assigned to text to). It’s easy! You’ll have everything you need in the ThruText platform.
If you need a little boost, more details, or some added fun, please also consider signing up for any or all of our#MomsVote texting open houses to text with others and also to get help in real time. Joining an open house is not mandatory in order to text with us! For help, you can also email firstname.lastname@example.org.
To get instant answers to common questions, please check our Texting FAQ, which we are updating regularly as new common questions arise.
